A car reaching the milestone 50th birthday of its introduction will often move up in collectibility and value.. Five cars that were “all new” in 1962 will be celebrating their Golden Anniversary this year: Shelby’s Cobra, the MGB, Pontiac’s Grand Prix, Ford’s Fairlane and the Chevy II/Nova
We think that 2012 will generate lots of interest in each of these ‘60s classics and in their performance, sportiness, luxury, practicality in today’s hobby and overwhelming popularity. Any of these cars may be a good automotive nvestment to make in 2012. Look for them at the Arizona auctions.
