ENGINE SEMINAR

I’m at the Hot Rod & Restoration Show in Indianapolis promoting my new business “Gunner’s Great Garage” and Ted Svedja of Monaco Vintage Motors is here with me. Both of use joined with a team from Egge Machine and Speed Shop (www.EGGE.com) to present a seminar about vintage engines. It was well attended with about 40 people in the audience and we covered all the bases from the flathead Ford V-8 up to the early small-block Chevy. According to the folks at Egge, the hot engines people are rebuilding today include Cadillac V-8s from the iconic 1949 version up to the big 500-cid job, the early Olds Rocket V-8 and the classic Buick “Nailhead.”
