This morning we had our first meeting to organze the “Imports & Indepents” theme for the 2009 Iola old Cars Show. I’m involved with the “imports” side of the theme and good old Ken Buttolph is putting in lots of work on the “independents” part. Ken has even arranged for the Kaiser-Frazer Owners Club to have a meet here in Iola during the car show. He wants to get more sliding-door Kaiser-Darrins together than ever before in history. The Fox Cities British Car Club (www.foxbrits.com) will spearhead the turnout of British cars and British car clubs. We are also ancxiousd to connect with clubs for German cars, Italian cars, Swedish cars, Russian cars and whatever else there is out there. Any individuals or groups that want to participate can call the Iola Old Car Show office at 715-445-4000. Here’s hoping that the turnout and participation will be great. A fantastic show is shaping up. Visit www.iolaoldcarshow.com for more information.
