I hadn’t been to the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Ill. for over 10 years. In fact, according to the date on the pictures I took, my last visit was Oct. 3, 1999. My, how things have changed! Since that time the museum has become a showcase of cars used on TV shows and in movies. According to Bill and Greg Grams, they have had over 200 “Hollywood Cars” pass through their hands since they got into them about 7 years ago. Greg says the Hollywood cars raised his annual attendance figures from 150,000 per year to 250,000 per year. In fact, Volo is doing so well, they are actually looking for more cars to sell through their car store and they are offering people a great deal to consign a car for sale. I was impressed. It was great to hear a of a success story happening these days. Apparently, the old car marketplace is still doing OK.
