A Limited opportunity to spot old Oldsmobiles

It’s impossible to miss an Oldsmobile Limited, but the chance to miss one of these enormous brass-era automobiles is extremely rare. That’s why you don’t want to miss the National Antique Oldsmobile Club‘s 29th National Meet in Lansing, Mich., July 7-10, 2010.

These magnificent cars were built from 1910-1912, making the eldest examples 100 years old in 2010. The display will consist of the Limited prototype, a Limited racecar and several different styles of these big-wheel cars. This unique display will be the first time these cars have ever been displayed together. Limiteds to be attending include the Oldsmobile Limited Race car owned by Eldon Eby and the Oldsmobile Limited 7-passenger Touring owned by Ray Belf.

The show will be located at the Lexington Hotel (formerly Sheraton) on
the west side of Lansing. The club is expecting about 100 Oldsmobiles
dating from 1966 and older. A swap meet will also be held those days.

In addition to the car show and swap meet there will be a display of the Oldsmobile Limiteds.

If you have a 1966 or older Oldsmobile to display or parts to sell and would like to participate, call Judy or Doug Badgley at 517-645-7438, 517-256-2336 or djbadgley@gmail.com
