This was not all of the Model As, but it was the better ones. Each license plate you see behind them was removed from the rafters and mounted on plywood panels by the hardworking Auctions America staff.
I attended the three day “Car-Tacular.” Most of the bidding was fast and furious. However, when the motorcycles and cars were auctioned off (Friday and Saturday, respectively), things slowed down a bit. Several things caught my eye; however, my big prize was the 1931 FORD Model A, Sport Coupe (it is the third car back, black body with a white soft top, pictured in “Special Hartung DSC_0580″). This was a once in a lifetime event. Had a ball !
