Seven collector vehicle auctions in the span of ten days in a warm, dry climate at the height of winter.
While this is most old car hobbyists version of heaven on earth, even the most die-hard car enthusiast might need a diversion from watching great cars being bought and sold on the auction block. Even if it’s just to take in other car activities.
One of the favorite stops of Old Cars Weekly staffers when in
Arizona in January is The Pavilions Car Show, held on Saturdays
at the Rock ’n’ Roll McDonald’s on Indian Bend Road in
Scottsdale. (Ron Kowalke photo)

There are also more than 100 antique dealers listed for the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, too many to list in this space. These businesses often have automobilia/petroliana items for sale, especially vintage automobile literature.
For a full list of these dealers and their locations, use the Internet and search for Arizona antique dealers. Also, when in Arizona, state-operated tourist information sites will often have pamphlets or maps of the antique dealers in the area.
These tourist information sites are also stocked with pamphlets for non-automotive events.
