Concept cars on display at GM headquarters

DETROIT – General Motors is displaying several of its concept cars at the Renaissance Center in Detroit through April 2. Several of the company’s new cars are on display next to such concepts as the 1953 Cadillac LeMans, 1951 Buick LeSabre, 1959 Cadillac Cyclone and 1961 Corvette Mako Shark I.

Other dreams from GM’s collector car stable on display are such ’50s gems as a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe, 1957 Olds Starfire Holiday Sedan and 1959 Cadillac convertible. Several muscle cars can also be seen. Vehicles in the display can be seen Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Visitors should confirm the display’s availability by calling 313-667-7151.
