C entral Pennsylvania’s birds are chirping, the grass is getting green and the sound of throaty engines permeates the state’s countryside, announcing that Spring Carlisle and the Spring Carlisle Auction are under way at the 82-acre Carlisle Fairgrounds April 18-22.
You never know what will appear for sale at Spring Carlisle.
Last year, this 1937 Ford convertible sedan made an appearance.
The Spring Carlisle Swap Meet and Car Corral is a paradise of cars, accessories and memorabilia. Approximately 100,000 attendees see more than 3,000 vendors in 8,100 vendor and car corral spaces during the event. And for those looking to buy a collector car, there are more than 1,800 vehicles of all makes, models and prices for sale in the car corral.
For the second year, a sister event takes place just one block away at the Carlisle Expo Center. The second annual Spring Carlisle Auction heralds real cars at real prices, showcasing antique, collector and special-interest vehicles. More than 250 vehicles are set to cross the block April 20-21, and will include collector cars of all types.
Spring Carlisle has evolved into an event that offers a complete automotive experience, and it’s one few collectors miss.
