Muscle cars heat up Saturday Barrett-Jackson action

Saturday’s early auction action at the Barrett-Jackson Auction at Westworld included plenty of six-figure prices — and lots of bidder attention to muscle cars.

“Muscle car action continues to heat up at Barrett-Jackson,” said Keith Mathiowetz, Old Cars editor. One of the biggest sales during the day Saturday was Lot #1244, a 1970 Shelby Mustang GT500 Convertible, which sold for $232,000. (All prices are unofficial and include the premium.”
