Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, one of the most accomplished drag race drivers and team owners in the history of motorsports, has announced his retirement from racing.
Prudhomme drove for 32 seasons before retiring after the 1994 season. He has worked as a team owner for the past 15 seasons.
Prudhomme has won six National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) World Championships and 112 national events during his career.
