Iola, Wis.—The 35th annual Iola Old Car Show is turning out to be one of the biggest ever.
This year’s theme Coming up Sevens is proving to be a very popular attraction for show cars. Over 225 cars and trucks built in years ending in the #7 have registered for the event. A wide variety of cars, many never before seen at Iola, will grace the giant theme tent and surrounding area, including a rare 1907 Brush runabout, owned by Clarence Gregorious.
NASCAR will also be represented at the show. The Milwaukee Mile’s “Mobile Mile” racing simulator will be set-up next to the Theme tent behind the F&W Publications building. The “Mobile Mile” will be operating on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Iola’s famous for its huge automotive swap meet and this year’s no different. All 4428 spaces are sold out.
The Car Corral features 1000 spaces to sell your car or truck. All vehicles must be of 1987 vintage or older and be in operating condition. The corral is a great place to find your next collector car!
International Classic Auctions is again hosting their great classic auto auction on Saturday. Open to any make and model vehicle, you can expect a great assortment of stock, modified and restored classics to cross the auction block. Over 150 cars are expected.
