A car show devoted strictly to the Corvette will be held this weekend, April 18 and 19 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, N.J.
Appropriately named “Strictly Corvette”, the show will include a Walk in History, featuring 56 years of Corvettes from the 150 HP 1953 to the 620 HP 2009 ZR-1.
Also on display will be the world’s oldest Corvette, owned by George Kerbeck of Kerbeck Corvette. The car premiered at the 1953 GM Autorama at the Waldorf Hotel In New York City.
Kevin’s Corvette repair will be bringing a collection of vintage racecars, as well as an assortment of L88’s and 435 HP Corvettes.
Additionally, there will be 270 vendor booths devoted to the Corvette.
Hours of the show are Saturday April 18, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday April 19, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is $20. Children age 12 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. $1.00 per ticket will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Also as a fundraiser for St. Jude’s, Strictly Corvette will be selling raffle tickets all weekend for a chance to win a 2010 Corvette coupe, in the color of the winner’s choice. Tickets for the raffle will be priced at $100 and will be sold by Strictly Corvette, AutoBuffs and Kerbeck Corvette. The winning ticket will be drawn in Memphis,Tenn. on Columbus Day 2009 during CorvetteForum.com’s annual visit to the hospital to present funds raised on behalf of the hospital and to display their Corvettes for St.Jude patients.
