Stolen restored Model A pickup recovered

A stolen Ford Model A pickup truck stolen in the Laurel, Mont., area in mid-December has been recovered.

According to the Billings Gazette, someone anonymously called the truck’s owner, Jerry Johnson, after reading about the theft in the Gazette. Their tip led Yellowstone County Sheriff deputies to a Billings storage facility where the restored truck, valued at $18,000, was found.

Also recovered was a red 2007 Yamaha motorcycle that is also believed to be stolen.

Authorities continue to investigate.
