First and Second Firebird Pontiacs built restored and ready for Texas concours

This red convertible was the first Firebird built: a 1967 model with the 326-cid V-8. It is believd to have appeared at the Chicago Auto Show.

Pontiac Firebird No. 1 and No. 2 have been restored by Gas Monkey Garage of Fast ‘N’ Loud fame and will be displayed at the Concours d’Elegance of Texas. More »

1967 Shelby GT500: Rare muscle car joins Texas concours

This 1967 Shelby GT500 convertible originally assigned to Carroll Shelby will appear May 5 at the Concours d’Elegance of Texas.

Organizers of the second annual Concours d’Elegance of Texas have confirmed that the only big-block GT convertible ever built by Shelby American Inc. in 1967, will be part of this year’s show field May 5 at La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa. More »
