The 2007 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, a presentation of more than 200 of the most exotic and valuable vintage automobiles in the world, will take place Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the lush grounds of historic Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan.
The 29th annual Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance is the culmination of a week of spectacular events that celebrate the art that moves us - the power and beauty of the automobile.
This year's Concours will feature the beloved Italian masterpiece, the Alfa Romeo as its featured marque. The group of historic Alfas that will take the field are show stoppers including two examples of the immortal "Two-Nine" and the famous futuristic B.A.T. cars, a series of Berlina Aerodinamica Technica concept vehicles that will be shown along with the famous 1958 Nardi Blue Ray 2 by Vignale and the later Blue Ray 3 design study. Top that off with the appearance of the Bugatti Royale Type 41 Cabriolet valued at more than $10 million.
For the first time ever a selection of historic motorcycles will also be on display. Dubbed "Forty Fours," this will likely be the largest gathering of vintage four cylinder motorcycles ever presented and will feature famous names including FN, ACE, Henderson, Pierce, Cleveland, Indian and Ariel Square 4.
