Canton, Ohio --The 13th annual Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Automobiles will be held September 14-16, 2007, on the grounds of historic Glenmoor Country Club near Canton, Ohio.
The event is an automobile concours d'elegance--a celebration of automobile design. It is held in a beautiful setting that includes fine foods, fashions, an automobile tour and much more.
The 2007 features will be "Cadillac: Standard of the World" and "Alternative Fuel Vehicles: a 100 Year Retrospective." There will also be a display of automobiles from the "Class of '57" and, in recognition of the 75th anniversary of this American icon, all 14 body styles of the 1932 Ford will be displayed. In addition, there will be a display of vintage travel trailers--towed by vintage vehicles.
The weekend begins with golf on the club's Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
On Saturday, the Countryside Tour will depart from the front of the club at 8:30 a.m. That evening, a cocktail reception for the artists and silent auction will be held on the lawns of Glenmoor Country Club, followed by a gala dinner in the chapel dining room.
All events except the Countryside Tour are open to the public. Individual tickets are $25 each at the gate, or $20 in advance. A family ticket is $60 each at the gate, or $50 in advance.
