The last day of the British Motor Trade Association (www.britcar.org) 2011 conference was a half day session with more informative seminars and a business card exchange. It was announced that next year's conference will be held in Denver, Colo.
We left with the feeling that the BMTA is an organization that more professionals who sell or restore British collector cars should know about and join. BMTA can help your business grow and can also improve the supply of vintage British parts. In addition, the stronger BMTA can become, the better it can battle misguided legislation such as Wisconsin's scary (but recently killed) Trans 123 rule.
If you are a professional in the British car trade, you should belong to BMTA.
