I was zonked after making it to Cleveland late last night, but I only got a few hours of much-needed rest before it was time to make a return visit to Ohio Technical College (www.ohiotechnicalcollege). A few weeks ago, on my way to the East Coast, I stopped to see this fabulous private trade school in downtown Cleveland. This time I visited their Power Sports Institute at the old North Randall, Ohio mall. Both places are awesome. If you have a son or daughter who wants to be a repair techician or a professional restorer, please have them check the OTC website and take a virtual tour of this outstanding facility.
The next stop in Shipshewana, Indiana was equally amazing as the school in Ohio. I have met Elton Hostetler at several shows including the Iola Old Car Show, the St. Ignace Car Show and The Masterpiece and I had seen a few of his Hudsons over the years, but I had no idea just how many he had. After shooting over 200 photos of them today, I can tell you the collection at the Shipshewana Town Center is overwhelming. Since 2009 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Hudson, this is a place you should be adding to your hobby travel itinerary this summer.
