Steve McQueen was a die-hard car guy who also liked just about anything old. His adventures of driving around America with a huge truck and trailer in tow to scoop up antiques of all types are legendary. In these trips, he'd do business with hobby celebrities as Don Williams and Richie Clyne and others. With a full load after miles traipsing around the American countryside, McQueen needed a place to put his treasures. That chest was in Santa Paula, Calif.

Some of the most interesting stories I have learned about McQueen came from hobbyists in Santa Paula, and it's easy to see why the actor called the scenic community home. Now you can, too, for "just" $800K.

You will rarely find real estate listings on my blog, but when I heard "20-car garage," I just had to check out McQueen's former pad and the place that his vintage bikes, planes, cars and trucks once called home. You can check out the real estate for yourself here.

In a future issue of OCW, we'll be featuring a reader's truck that was once a favorite ride of McQueen's and happens to also be a favorite ride of the reader.
