The old Packard factory in Detroit is but a shadow of former self (and be sure to stay out of those shadows when visiting). But that's better than what appears to be the inevitable: the razing of the entire factory itself.
The city of Detroit and its owners want to see it come down, and recently, a representative for the building's owners was caught removing structural steel from the building without a demolition permit. That representative said the building "is going to be coming down," according to the Associate Press.
