New Product: 1966-67 Fairlane/Comet Exhaust Hangers

Waldron’s Antique Exhaust, Michigan, now offers new muffler and tailpipe hangers for 1966 and 1967 Fairlane and Comet vehicles equipped with dual exhaust systems and 390 or 427 CI engines. These hangers are manufactured in the U.S. and are designed to closely duplicate the fit and function of the original Ford and Mercury components.

Joe Tonietto, President of Waldron’s notes that “Fairlane and Comet customers have asked us to provide accurate reproductions of the original muffler and tailpipe hangers. Typical universal or replacement parts did not meet our, or our customers’, expectations for appearance or fit. Our parts closely match the OE hangers and they fit and function like the original parts.”

The hangers are available individually or in pairs. Prices range from $36 for one 1966 muffler hanger to $239 for a set of 2 muffler and 2 tailpipe hangers for a 1967 vehicle.
