KS bank latest to file suit against Kruse

Embattled auto auctioneer Dean Kruse faces contempt of court charges

Hillcrest Bank of Overland Park, Kan., claims Kruse violated the terms of his loan by using three Nazi command vehicles he did not own as collateral for a loan. Kruse owes $6.5 million on the loan, which is now in default.

A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 28 in DeKalb County.

The lawsuit is only the latest in several challenges facing Kruse. The Associated Press reported that a judge ordered seizure of Kruse’s 1985 Cessna jet last month after he defaulted on the loan.
