Seven original Tuckers coming to Glenmoor Gathering

Seven 1948 Tucker automobiles will be on display at the 18th annual Glenmoor Gathering on Sept. 14-16. Of the original 51 Tuckers built, 49 remain. In addition, there’ll be a movie prop car used in the 1988 movie “Tucker: The Man and his Dream.” And, there’ll be a “modern” Tucker, as well! More »

1,100 people, 901 Ponchos at 40th POCI show

Jack Buck of Greenville, Pa., brought his custom-built “El Poncho,” a 1960 Pontiac converted into an El Camino-style pickup.

Activity in the Pontiac Oakland Club International has been up and down over the past 40 years, but the end of the club’s fourth decade brought back a pattern of growth following the demise of the Pontiac brand. That was quite evident at the recent POCI meet. Check out the highlights. More »

Monterey-Pebble Beach excitement under way

This little 1969 Austin-Healey Sprite ownd by by Sam Gesumaria, a local Carmel citizen, captures lots of people attention.

The roar of mighty engines, and the viewing of some of the most historic, important and valuable cars in the world got started on Tuesday with the Carmel Concours on the Streets taking place in the main shopping district of Carmel-by-the-Sea, with more than 300 hand-picked vehicles lining both sides of the main boulevards in this touristy little town.
