When I arrived at my desk this morning, I was greeted by a pile of old Iola Old Car Show buttons and dash plaques dating to the late 1970s and early '80s. I am not sure of the mysterious source of this great archaeological dig, and I can only assume it's the work some sort of "Dash Plaque Fairy."
Regardless, I am making my good fortune the good fortune of blog viewers. If you'd like a selection of these dash plaques and buttons for your collection, drop me an e-mail with your address and "dash plaque" in the subject line to angelo.vanbogart@fwmedia.com. The first five people to reply will get a selection of the vintage plaques. The rest will go to the Iola Old Car Show staff.
