Old Cars Report Price Guide editor Ron Kowalke knows I'm Cadillac crazy, and while cruising the cars and car-related collectibles during the Scottsdale auctions, he snapped a few pics of some primo promos from Cadillac's past for me. The pieces shown here come from the fin's heyday, and all of them would look great next to the cars they helped sell. Note that the pieces fetched prices just below and just above the original price of the cars they helped pump.

According to the information posted, this sign lights and spins, and would have done so above new Sixty Specials, Eldorados and Coupe deVilles as early as 1956. The approximately 6-foot-long sign was offered at Barrett-Jackson's automobilia sale where it was sold for $7,705.

Someone obviously had a field day making this 1960 Cadillac-based kiddie kar into today's image of the perfect '60 convertible with pink and white interior and Eldorado-esque pinstriping. (Also check out the Sixty Special chrome louvers out back.) I have to admit that I've never seen one of these pedal car-sized 1960 Cadillacs in my travels and research, but its sale price of $3,450 indicates the buyer knew more about its history than I do. According to information from Barrett-Jackson, the white kiddie kar was a "one of a kind" and had been "given to dealers for sales performance in 1960." (If it's "one of a kind," shouldn't only one dealer have received one?) Regardless, it had received a professional restoration and had working headlamps and tail lamps.
