Crystal Rice, of Maryland, works for a public relations firm and is a big classic car enthusiast. She was researching on-line information about colleges that offered classic car restoration courses when she came across the Ohio Technical College Website. Ms. Rice called the school in Cleveland, Ohio, and said that she was interested in providing a scholarship to a student who wanted to learn about restoring classic cars. Through the Website, she got in touch with Jennifer Tucker in the Ohio Technical College Financial Aid Dept. Ms. Rice began a scholarship called “The Martinsburg, WV and Keedysville, MD Classic Car Enthusiast’s Fund.” The first scholarship awarded from this fund recently went to William Tubbs, a student in OTC’s Classic Car Technology Program. For information on the school's Classic Car Restoration Technology Program contact: Ohio Technical College – Main Campus, 1374 East 51 St., Cleveland, OH 44103.
