As you may know, 2008 is the 100th birthday of Henry Ford's Model T. The Model T Club of America (MTFCA) is planning to celebrate this occassion in Richmond, Indiana in July of 2008. The week-long event will include car games, a Model T Ford assembly team competition, various tours, a vintage baseball game and a vintage air show. Over 1,000 Model T Fords are expected to attend.
The MTFCA has also been very busy opening a museum dedicated to the Model T. The museum is located in Centerville, Indiana. Numerous cars and trucks have been donated to the museum. Even Jay Leno recently made a generous donation to get the museum going.
