Thieves Target Carlisle Vendors

The Fall Carlisle Show wasn’t all wine and roses – thieves took off with more than $22,000 in car parts.

A couple of swap vendors at Fall Carlisle went home with a few less items than they arrived with, but it wasn’t by choice.

Thieves stole more than $22,000 worth of items from the two classic car parts dealers Thursday or Friday at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, Carlisle police said.

Items stolen include 1960s Camaro consoles and gauges from a Chevrolet parts vendor and a Pontiac GTO grille and headlight bezels, a carburetor, Firebird bumper and a suspension were taken from another vendor.
