ORANGE, Calif. - In honor of its 75th anniversary, the 1932 Ford will be the featured marque during Great American Race 2007, presented by Interstate Batteries. In what is being billed as the world's longest '32 Ford celebration, the Great Race will begin on June 30 in Concord, N.C., and will finish 4,000 miles later on July 14 in Orange County, Calif.
"For 75 years, the Deuce has been a symbol of style, automotive expression and American ingenuity," said Bill Ewing, CEO for Rally Partners, Inc, event organizers.2007 also marks the 25th anniversary Great Race. This milestone cross-country race has been expanded next summer to include two special
events honoring the Deuce. Deuce Week East and Deuce Week West are one-week races running concurrently with the 2007 Great American Race and featuring '32 Fords of all configurations. Hot rods, street rods and Classics are all welcome to participate.
