Auburn, Indiana - The catalogue for Worldwide’s 13th annual Auburn Auction is now online, with three-quarters of this year’s consignments offered at no reserve, including three collections. To be presented as a simultaneous live and online event, the Auburn Auction is the only live boutique catalogue sale still on the calendar for 2020, scheduled to take place at the company’s Indiana headquarters on September 5th over Labor Day Weekend. Among the landmark consignments is the celebrated Stainless Steel Trifecta, a once-in-a-lifetime chance for a collector to acquire a trio of historic vehicles first conceived by the pioneering stainless steel producer Allegheny Ludlum Inc. in collaboration with the Ford Motor Company in 1935 , built to showcase the extreme durability and aesthetic appeal of the new metal.
