Seven engine and drivetrain suppliers will present seminars during the Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show’s Education & Training Day on Thursday, March 22. Topics covered during these free sessions will include fuel injection, powertrain setup, ignition and differentials.
Hedman Performance will present “The Latest Products From Hedman, TransDapt & Hamburger’s” during Session 1, from 8 a.m.–9 a.m. During the seminar, representatives from the company will provide information on the latest products from Hedman’s three brands.
The Inland Empire Driveline Service seminar “Powertrain Set Up: What Works” will also take place during Session 1. Attendees will learn how to work around four types of built-in vibration using correct powertrain geometry and driveshaft design.
FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technology) will present “Making the Right Decision on Fuel Injection” during Session 4, from 12:30 p.m.&ndash:1:30 p.m. This seminar is targeted to shops helping customers make the move to fuel injection and will cover the steps necessary to make fuel injection work in all applications.
COMP Cams will present “What Sounds GOOD, Runs GOOD” during Session 5, from 1:45 p.m.–2:45 p.m. During the seminar, company representatives will explain the theory of enhancing sound and performance without hurting fuel mileage, as well as how to choose the proper oil for your customer’s vehicle.
Crane Cams will present “Ignition Myths & Facts” during Session 7, from 4:15 p.m.–5:15 p.m. Representatives from the company will help attendees understand proper ignition system installation techniques and operation for optimum performance over the course of the one-hour seminar.
The Eaton Performance Products seminar “High Performance Differentials” also takes place during Session 7. Topics covered during this seminar will include performance enhancement and selection considerations for classic restorations, street rods and racing applications.
Edelbrock presents “Edelbrock’s New Products for 2012″ during Session 7. During the seminar, representatives from the company will offer an overview of Edelbrock’s complete product line.
