On my way out to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas I stopped in Elk Grove Village, Ill., to shoot pictures of the Voodoo Idol, a customized '46 Ford. This gorgeous Jade Green '46 Ford was built by a talented guy named Voodoo Larry Grobe. If you want to see Larry, his cars and his shop go to www.voodoolarrykustoms.com. During our conversation, Larry said that he "almost" had the Voodoo Idol at SEMA and this made me realize how hard it is to have a car at SEMA. It HAS to be a great ride to be there.
