If it's Monday night, I must be in Cleveland. But my day started off at the Quality Inn in Pottstown, PA, when Dan Olsen came to meet me and take me to Pollock Auto Restoration (www.pollockauto.com) in Pottstown. This facility started as a shop that restored cars for Bill Pollock's famous old museum, but it's now a shop that you can take your car to -- in fact, one of the finest. From there, Dan and I scooted up the road to the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles (www.boyertownmuseum.org) which has a fabulous collection of old cars, trucks, bikes, sleds and motorcycles housed in the former Boyertown Truck Body plant. After a whirlwind tour of the museum, we went to hook up with Chris Liebenberg, general manager of the 3 Dog Garage (www.3dog.org) for a look at this outrageous collection of Ford racing cars and hot rods. After that, I paid a quick visit to Curt Strohacker at The Eastwood Company (www.eastwood.com), then I "flew" 407 miles down the road to Streetsboro, Ohio, where I'm "parked" at America's Best Value Inn for the night. I'm a little whipped, so I'm keeping this short, but please visit the Websites of these places for more info. You'll see some very cool stuff.
(PS: Thanks to Joe Richardson of Eastwood for setting everything up for my busy day).
