Road Warrior - Day 2 - Busy Monday

Publish date:

If it's Monday night, I must be in Cleveland. But my day started off at the Quality Inn in Pottstown, PA, when Dan Olsen came to meet me and take me to Pollock Auto Restoration ( in Pottstown. This facility started as a shop that restored cars for Bill Pollock's famous old museum, but it's now a shop that you can take your car to -- in fact, one of the finest. From there, Dan and I scooted up the road to the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles ( which has a fabulous collection of old cars, trucks, bikes, sleds and motorcycles housed in the former Boyertown Truck Body plant. After a whirlwind tour of the museum, we went to hook up with Chris Liebenberg, general manager of the 3 Dog Garage ( for a look at this outrageous collection of Ford racing cars and hot rods. After that, I paid a quick visit to Curt Strohacker at The Eastwood Company (, then I "flew" 407 miles down the road to Streetsboro, Ohio, where I'm "parked" at America's Best Value Inn for the night. I'm a little whipped, so I'm keeping this short, but please visit the Websites of these places for more info. You'll see some very cool stuff.

(PS: Thanks to Joe Richardson of Eastwood for setting everything up for my busy day).
