GM scurries to keep up with demand for 2010 Camaro

GM is having a hard time keeping up with demand for the 2010 Camaro.
Publish date:

General Motors Corp., struggling to remain afloat as a profitable automaker, apparently can’t keep up with demand for the 2010 Camaro.

According to several published reports, GM has filled about half the 25,000 Camaro orders taken, and analysts say that, on average, the hot cars sell for about $500 more than sticker price on average.

GM said it began producing the muscle cars in March, and it sold 5,463 in May. The sports car is made in Oshawa, Ontario.
