The Fall Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral, running Oct. 3-7 at the Carlisle (Pa.) Fairgrounds, is one of the largest annual vintage automotive events in the country. Thousands of vendors will offer all the automotive accessories and memorabilia any enthusiast can imagine. In addition, with more than 1,800 vehicles in the car corral, hobbyists are sure to find the car or truck of their dreams.

All 82 acres of the Carlisle Fairgrounds will be full of everything automotive, from used parts, automobilia and petroliana to restoration tools, books and literature. It’s often said by many participants, “If you can’t find it at Fall Carlisle, you probably won’t find it anywhere.” There are on-grounds banking and notary services, so attendees can purchase a vehicle without having to leave the fairgrounds.

Each year, tens of thousands of visitors come to the autumn event to buy, sell and attend the exciting Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction at the Carlisle Expo Center, just a block from the fairgrounds. The second year of the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction falls on the Friday and Saturday of Fall Carlisle, Oct. 5-6. “Early indications and inquiries from auction attendees and consignors tell us we are looking at another great auction,” commented Bill Miller III, senior manager, overseeing auction operations. For further information and updates on recent consignments, go to www.carlisleauctions.com.

Gates open at 7 a.m. General admission is $9 daily Wednesday through Saturday and $5 Sunday. Five-day passes are available for only $25. Children under 12 years old are admitted free of charge.
