Creighton Farms’ prestigious auto event returns for second year

Northern Virginia’s motoring event showcasing a unique collection of “Then & Now” cars along with rare marques in the spirit of the Mille Miglia USA to take place November 7th.

Creighton Farms

ALDIE, Va., —Last year, Creighton Farms was part of the Mille Miglia USA in partnership with the Italian 1000 Miglia. The Italian road race has been called “the most beautiful race in the world.” Pre-COVID, and for the past 90 years, the Italian race has taken place every May. Last year, Creighton Farms hosted the Mille Miglia USA, a qualifier for the Italian race. During the event, Creighton Farms showcased the participants’ cars along with other rare cars in an exclusive “Then & Now” before the Mille Miglia USA participants left for the day’s time trials and road race.

This year, due to COVID, the Italians are not able to host their event at Creighton Farms. Instead, Creighton Farms has invited back the Mille Miglia USA participants and will once again hold an exciting “Then & Now” auto showcase with rare historic models and their current counterparts. In addition, there will also be an “eclectic electric” part of the show that includes historic models that have been converted to electric.

“We’re delighted to host this popular event,” said Wayne Trudeau chief sales officer for Southworth Development (owner and manager of Creighton Farms.) “Many of our residents are avid collectors with a big interest in vintage and rare autos.” The event is just one in a series of special events held at Creighton Farms for its residents and outside guests. Every summer, the community holds the Creighton Farms Invitational golf tournament hosted by Jack Nicklaus and other special events. “Residents of Creighton Farms get a front row seat and VIP tickets to all of our events,” Trudeau added.

The event is being conducted outdoors and within CDC and state guidelines. All participants and spectators must wear masks to attend and participation is limited.
