IOLA ’08 – Mitch Swenson, Public Relations Director for the Iola Old Car Show (July 10-13) is encouraging participants to sign up for swap spaces before it is too late.
The weather’s getting nicer and the time has come to get those collector cars out of winter storage. With sunny, summer days ahead—the Iola Old Car Show & Swap Meet is gearing up for IOLA ’08 and this year’s theme: “Roadsters, Ragtops and Rumble Seats”.
If you haven’t already signed up for your swap space, the Iola Old Car Show staff suggests that you visit www.iolaoldcarshow.com and download a registration form. The forms are located in the “Show Information” portion of the site. Pre-registration is accepted until June 13.
According to Swenson, almost 1,000 show cars are already pre-registered with more coming in daily. Though the cost of everything keeps going up, IOLA ’08 is working very diligently and will not be raising the price of admissions, registrations or food and beverages.
IOLA ’08 is produced by Iola Old Car Show, Inc. a non-profit corporation established for the betterment of our area communities and to advance the specific charities of the member organizations. Some 120 civic and service groups provide over 29,000 volunteer hours.
