Visitors to the show will have no trouble filling their day wandering throughout the arena.

With 500 Chevrolets and Corvettes registered, show manager Bob Ashton said there is a waiting list for the collectors wanting to show their prized possessions.

Notable Corvettes on display include the Yenko/Bushell Corvette raced at Daytona in 1963, a 1969 L-88 Corvette that has been packed away for 30 years and a 1969 L-88 cutaway car that the owner, Kevin McKay, calls a "see-through L-88."

Then, to really excite Corvette aficionados, 50 of the best 'Vettes from 1959 to 1980 will be on display in the Triple Crown Gallery.

In addition to the hefty Corvette display, Ashton is particularly excited about the show's large gathering of Z-16 Chevelles.

"There are eight registered for the show, including the number one pilot (prototype)," Ashton said. "That's a really great showing, considering there were only 201 built."

The show will be peppered with special events, including a silent charity auction to benefit the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research and Awareness Foundation.

Autographs will be available from several authors including John Gunnell, Colin Comer, Jerry Heasley and Mike Yager.

A surprise is in store for show attendees in the line of a limited-edition print by featured artist Thom Sansoucie. He is keeping the picture's subject a secret, even from show organizers.

However, there's one thing that is not a secret ' Chevy VetteFest is the best for bowtie fans.
