Cruise-in at the Studebaker Museum
National museum to host 1st Annual “Hot August Nights” Cruise-in
The Cruise-in will be held Saturday, Aug. 29 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Studebaker National Museum, 201 S. Chapin St., South Bend, Ind.
For $12, participants can show off their cars and get free admission to the Museum. All makes and models are welcome and dash plaques will be given to the first 50 cars.
Admission to view the cars will be free to the public. Admission to the Museum for the general public that evening will be $5 for adults; youths under 16 free.
Food will be available for purchase from Walk-A-Dog and Bonnie Doon and music will be provided from WJOE.
STUDEBAKER NATIONAL MUSEUM’S ONGOING EXHIBITS
· "Harley Davidson: Building a Legend" consists of 29 motorcycles dating as far back as 1912 and consists of motorcycles ranging from early Peashooters, Servi-Cars, and classic Hogs.
· "Lincoln: The Man You Didn’t Know" consists of the carriage that Abraham Lincoln rode in the night he was assassinated as well as Mary Todd Lincoln’s shawl, the White House china used by the Lincolns, and other truly wonderful items. One must come in to fully indulge in the great history surrounding the nation’s 16th President.
