An Oscar Mayer Wienermobile got into a real pickle last Friday.

An Oscar Mayer Wienermobile got into a real pickle last Friday when it crashed into the garage and deck of a southeast Wisconsin home.

Police said the 22-year-old driver of the 27-foot-long, 7,000-pound fiberglass hot dog was attempting to back up, but accidentally shifted into drive while trying to turn the vehicle around. The accident occured in the Town of Mount Pleasant, about 35 miles south of Milwaukee on July 17 while the homeowners were away.

Aside from some embarrassment, no one was injured in the accident, and the home and Wienermobile received only moderate damage.

Oscar Mayer has six Wienermobiles nationwide.
