The latest Corvette will be on exhibit at the inaugural Motorama & Motorsports Expo April 3-5, 2015, in Green Bay, Wis.

It seems like everyone around Old Cars Weekly headquarters in Iola, Wis., has been talking about Green Bay lately. That’s because there is a lovable football team there called the Packers and they’re doing pretty good this year.

We don’t follow football, but we’ve heard that it can get pretty cold at Packer home games in historic Lambeau Field. What we do follow is car shows and one of the best indoor winter shows used to be the “World of Wheels” that took place at Brown County Arena, just down the street from Lambeau Field. Our friend Bob Ashton was the manager of that show and Bob knows how to get great cars out to any show he runs.

Well, now we hear that a fellow named Rick Paulick is reviving the tradition of staging a car show at Brown County Arena. Here’s what he posted on his Facebook page.

“Hope you guys and gals don't care if I post this. The Green Bay, Wis., area hasn't had an indoor car show for a few years since the World of Wheels ended in our area. I personally rented both expo centers and am going to try a Motorsports Show in one building and an All-Corvette Show in the other. I don’t know if I’ll win, lose or draw. I'm looking for 70-90 Corvettes of all generations, and vendors. My website is a work in progress and will be finished within days, www.newmotorama.com is the start of it.”

The inaugural Motorama & Motorsports Expo is scheduled for April 3-5, 2015, and will be headquartered at both the Brown County Arena and the adjacent Shopko Hall.

Shopko Hall will feature vendors and vehicles of all types including racing cars, off-road vehicles, motorcycles and boats. Vendors will be able to display their vehicles and racing car owners can give recognition to their sponsors.

The Brown County Arena will feature a car show. In an effort to keep things fresh each year, the car show theme will change.annually. This year’s kick-off event will feature the All-Corvette Show. Rick Paulick says the theme “Honors the release of the Gen 7 Corvette, which may be the most successful new-car debut in history.”
