This has been an exciting week in the Krause Books Department (www.KrauseBooks.com) -- which is the branch of the company I work for. A bunch of new books arrived back from the printer and one was a book I have really been waiting to see.
Mike Yager's Corvette Bible is a book that gives you three things: Specifications, Hundreds of Color Photos and Mike Yager's personalized tips on buying Corvettes. Most Corvette people already know Mike as the owner of Mid America Motorworks (www.mamotorworks.com), one of the largest suppliers of Corvette parts and accessories.
In other Corvette books, historians, writers and researchers have given their opinions about Corvettes, but the comments in Mike Yager's Corvette Bible come from a guy who sells parts to Corvette fans all the way from Colin Powell to hobbyists like you and me. So, Mike knows if the Cross-Fire Injected cars are problematic and he knows that Dark Bowling Green is the best color 2001 'Vette to own.
Mike isn't giving opinions -- if he says a certain Corvette breaks a lot, he knows it because he sells more parts for that model. Pretty simple, huh?
Mike's book is small enough to carry to shows and auctions and big enough to hold all the essential information you need to be a informed Corvette buyer. And you get all this for $24.99. And if you happen to be going to Mid America's (www.mamotorworks.com/corvette) 2007 Funfest event on September 21-23, you can even pick up a personally-signed copy at the show.
