NEW YORK CITY CAR SHOW AIDS AUTOSEUM

George Barris, King of Kustom Cars and his East Coast representatives, Andy Perillo and Mike Manning of NY Custom Coach, have announced plans to create a Long Island based museum for the preservation of famous cars and the education of future generations. The not-for-profit Autoseum will be raising funds by showcasing some of the world's most famous movie, TV and unique cars at the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City, NY on August 22-24, 2008.This event will feature a cocktail party featuring face-to-face meetings with George Barris, lunch, a dinner/dance, a brunch, a custom car show, a custom and classic car auction, rides, vendors, prizes and other attractions. 

The Autoseum will include restaurants, retail shops and a catering hall. It will be available for theme parties, weddings, press conferences, arts and media events, celebrity shows and corporate events. It will also serve an interactive community center with vocational, educational and industrial elements. The Autoseum will merge with industry leaders, media, dealers, educators, the community, commerce, business leaders, etc. and offer something for everyone, especially young people. It is envisioned as the foundation for an exciting one-of-a-kind facility in the New York metropolitan and Tri-state area.
