Spring Cleaning

Hard to believe after getting 23 inches of snow in the past week, but spring is coming. I can tell this, because the shop in my car building is a mess. Over the winter, we tore three engines apart, fixed one suspension and ripped another one apart, changed oil several times and just kind of generally tinkered around. Winter is bad. It is impossible to open the door or the windows, the garbage (dry garage dirt) doesn't go out as regularly, parts get washed, paint gets sprayed and things get generally dirty. Take-off parts that would generally find their way into the cold-storage part of the building tend to stay in the heated shop. Clutter builds up in corners. You get the picture. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a good spring cleaning. What's your shop like at this time of year? -- Gunner
