Volvo collectors set to gather in Milwaukee

The Volvo Sports America club (www.vsa.org) will take part in The Milwaukee Masterpiece (milwaukeemasterpiece.com) Club Day Aug. 23. Jim Perry, president of the club’s Wisconsin chapter, says that members from across the country will be coming to the show in Milwaukee’s Veterans Park.

Club president Tony D'Agostino decided to roll out a local gathering into a national meet. "We're pleased with VSA's decision to hold their national meet at the Masterpiece," said Leon Flagg, chairman of the Masterpiece Ltd. Volvo Flagg said Volvo Sports America is headquartered in New Jersey and dedicated to the preservation and restoration of classic Volvos, especially 1800 series cars.

The Masterpiece Ltd. raises money to provide medical and social service care and relief to underprivileged children and families with classic car events.
