Bob Lutz named chief judge of Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance

ROCHESTER, Mich. - GM Vice Chairman Robert A. Lutz has been named chief judge for the 2007 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance. The 29th annual concours will take place Aug. 5 at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Mich.

Lutz, who heads global product development for General Motors, is known as a leader in innovative automotive design, as well as a passionate classic and exotic auto enthusiast. As chief judge, Lutz will head up a panel of 50 experts in automotive design from across the world to decide on the award winners among the nearly 300 classic and exotic automobiles that will compete at the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance.

"As one of the most prestigious concours, Meadow Brook consistently attracts some of the finest classic automobiles from around the world," Lutz said. "I take the role of chief judge as a great personal honor and look forward to helping make this year's event one of the best ever."
