Chrysler Museum showcases top-notch trios
Walter P. Chrysler Museum features rare vehicles through rotating specialty exhibits
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Would you open a door if you knew there was a Demon on the other side? How about a Spyder or Hornet? You would if it was at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Mich. This year, the museum is featuring a regularly rotating trio of vehicles through the Unique Vehicle Pairs Spotlight Series and Collector's Curb specialty exhibits. Auto enthusiasts who appreciate the art of the possible and admire a fellow hobbyist's magnificently maintained model, can enjoy both throughout 2011.
Unique Vehicle Pairs highlights, by theme, a pair of iconic Chrysler concept or one-of-a-kind modified vehicles on the museum's second floor. In conjunction with the Unique Pairs, the newly-launched Collector's Curb spotlights a spectacular vehicle on loan from a private owner in celebration of his or her car club. The vehicle is exhibited, along with an array of personal memorabilia, in the Museum's Boss Chrysler's Garage.
