Atlanta’s own ocean, Georgia Aquarium, is revving up for its second annual “Oceans & Autos” Classic Car Show. Spinning its wheels from Oct. 22-23, the event will be held in the magnificent Oceans Ballroom, where guests, automobile collectors and car enthusiasts alike can enjoy some of the world’s most extraordinary vehicles set against the enchanting backdrop of whale sharks and beluga whales.

This year’s collection is “making waves” with one of the rarest and most extraordinary examples of American automobile design, the 1961 Mako Shark concept vehicle. Resembling a species of sea life habitants, this classic car is regarded as one of the most influential in history and is rarely on exhibit anywhere outside of Michigan’s General Motors Heritage Museum.

In addition, collectors from across the Southeast will display nearly 40 exceptionally rare examples of global automotive design and manufacturing. Where else would y ou have the opportunity to see whales and wheels side by side?
