The state of Indiana is a favored destination of vintage automobile and collector vehicle auction enthusiasts during the Labor Day weekend.

This year, two major auction attractions are scheduled, both with plenty to see and do beyond the auction podium. Both Auctions America by RM and WorldWide Auctioneers have large, multi-day sales planned in Auburn, Ind., on that weekend.

Auctions America by RM’s second annual event is scheduled to take place Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 1-4, at the Auburn Auction Park. The auction will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Prior to the sale of vehicles on Friday through Sunday, there is one hour of memorabilia auction scheduled. Preview begins at 8 a.m. each day, plus all day on Wednesday, Aug. 31.

WorldWide Auctioneers’ fourth annual event will take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 2-4, at the WorldWide Auction Park in Auburn. The auction will begin each day at 10 a.m. A preview is scheduled for all day Thursday, Sept. 1. On Saturday beginning at 6 p.m., there will be a prime time Main Event Auction for catalog series vehicles.

Both auctions will feature a car corral and vendor booths in conjunction with the sale of vehicles on the block. In addition, the Auctions America by RM event will also feature a huge swap meet presented by Carlisle Productions.
